Collaboration for a Cause

We know that galaxies are created when hundreds and thousands of stars come together. And that’s what we’re doing–bringing hundreds and thousands of people together to create a new galaxy of giving; one where art and heart collide for the greater good.

How the Good Gets Done

It goes like this…

STEP ONE

We partner with public figures who are using their platform for good, and give them a tangible, artistic alternative for supporting the nonprofit of their choice.

STEP TWO

Once we join forces, the public figure steps up to the canvas to create a piece of limited edition artwork, screen printed by talented artists and purchased by you.

STEP THREE

Your Good Art purchase turns into a donation for nonprofits who are eliciting real change, and you just joined the new galaxy of giving.

Good Accountability

Good Art is proud to be registered as a Benefit Corporation in the state of Minnesota. This means that we make decisions based on our social and environmental responsibilities, first, rather than our profits and savings - like standard for-profits do. If it costs more to produce, but leaves a smaller carbon footprint; then that’s the route we happily take and find other ways to maintain affordability. Sure, our business model is built to pour proceeds into nonprofits - but we’re committed to more than that.

We use the printing process as a means to direct funds to communities with arts programs by printing through nonprofit, creative-based groups like, Youth Design Center.

All printing and packaging materials are produced by eco-friendly packaging companies who are dedicated to reducing/off-setting their eco-imprint. Making sure that they’ve met rigorous standards to produce post-consumer recycled, recyclable, and naturally biodegradable packaging—so we can all enjoy our art, minus the carbon footprint.

Our benefit corporation status was an important step in our founding and serves to hold us to our commitment of leaving the this place better than how we found it.

A GOOD START

Founder and Creative Director of Good Art, Eva Zellmer, was raised by a single father who worked in both the nonprofit and professional sports sectors. She grew up experiencing first-hand how influence could be leveraged to make great things happen for good causes.

With 15 + years of experience as a production designer for shows like “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and “Celebrity IOU,” Eva noticed that “giveback-minded” design had the power to ignite collaboration among thousands of people—and that it could be a conduit for good. That’s how Good Art came to be.
